Why rodents are common
Leafy suburbs provide climbing routes onto roofs and food from gardens and fruit trees. Raised homes offer sub-floor shelter. Rodent activity indoors peaks in autumn and winter.
Rat lungworm
Rat lungworm occurs in South East Queensland. Wash produce, supervise children around slugs and snails, and ask your vet about risks to dogs.
